why choose a harvey allen blind?
The biggest difference between a Harvey Allen Blind and the other Blinds out there is definitely our all -steel base
The base is a welded 16 gage steel frame that will never rot, warp or twist. It is protected with powder coating that is baked on at 475 degrees. There is a deck that you safely step onto at the top of the ladder that has safety railing. You walk into the Blind standing up and you exit the same way. Safely
We make our own ladders the exact same way as the base. Welded steel that is powder coated with safety railings on both sides that come in 8', 10' or 12' lengths
The steel base keeps everything square because it will not warp or twist or rot. Ever!
The steel base makes installation very easy and safe and our blinds can be installed in just about any location.
You walk into the blind and step onto a carpeted floor
The walls are manufactured from wood and we use 4ply 1/2" plywood for siding that is painted inside and out
There is a steel roof with OSB underlayment
Easy open/close windows that fold down with silent hinges. you can even upgrade to thermo-pane glass windows.
Stand-up viewing windows
Large shelf for your gear and two small shelves for beverages, cell phone and binoculars
Whatever the weather is doing outside, you are comfortable and safe inside. The wind can be blowing at 20+mph. It can be raining or snowing or bitter cold. You will be warm and dry in an enclosed blind.
Your movements below the neck are hidden. So, pretty much all the deer can see is your head.
Your scent is contained inside the enclosed blind. Not 100% but definitely reduced.
There is plenty of storage for things like a thermos, lunch pail, back pack, heater, binoculars, outerwear etc.....
